 Jax won Highest Placing Miniature honors at the 2003 Roundup in Clarksville, TN.  He was #1 Male Dachshund for 2003, the #1 Miniature Smooth and the #5 Smooth Dachshund in the rankings.  In May 2004 Jax was shown by his breeder at the Sooner Dachshund Club Specialty Show where he followed in his dam's pawprints and won Best in Specialty Show.  Sooner Dachshund Club was where Suzy won her first BISS.  This win at Sooner was particulary fantastic as he retired the challenge trophies that his mother had previously won two "legs" on.  His win, as he was owned by identical owners, retired several trophies, ranging from silver, bronze and wood pieces, some dating back to the early 1980's.  This was truly a honor and it was particularly special that Suzy's son was the one to finish the job.
